Procedure
To have employment approved, you need a concrete job offer from an employer who wants to employ you. The employer must completely fill out the job offer form, which you can download here (see under Forms). Only if the job offer is completely filled out and signed by the employer, the employment can be allowed.

or send it to us by mail to:
Migration Office, Department 3, Stresemannstr. 48, 28207 Bremen, Germany.
The Migration Office sends the job offer to the Federal Employment Agency, which checks the job offer. This procedure usually takes 21 days.
Only if the Federal Employment Agency agrees, the Migration Office may grant permission for employment.
When the Federal Employment Agency has made its decision, we will inform you of the result in writing.
