Procedure
A payment form for the fee-based supplement is automatically sent to the applicant.
If the markings H and/or Bl are recognised, the supplementary sheet with token is free of charge and can be requested in writing or by telephone from the Office for Care and Integration. Once issued for the first time, the supplementary sheet will be sent automatically in subsequent years. No further application is required!
The supplement is also free of charge when receiving subsistence benefits in accordance with Chapter III or basic provision in accordance with Chapter IV of the Social Security Code Twelve (SGB XII) or when receiving benefits in accordance with SGB II (Hartz 4). Please send a current notification of the benefits mentioned above to the Amt für Versorgung und Integration Bremen. The supplementary sheet must be re-applied for each time (if possible 4 weeks before expiry).

The free supplementary sheets are generally valid for 12 months.
In the case of recognition of the "H" and/or "Bl" mark, an automatic dispatch to the citizen takes place shortly before the expiry of the validity.
The free supplementary sheet must be reapplied for 4 weeks before expiry if possible due to basic security. The presentation of the current benefit certificate is mandatory. There will be no reminder.
