With a petition, all citizens may defend themselves against injustice, discrimination or unequal treatment by government agencies. In this way, you can provide direct impetus for controlling the administration and, in exceptional cases, even for legislation. 

 The Petitions Committee deals with the concerns of individual citizens, 


  • because even the most conscientious authority is not infallible,
  • because even the best law can have flaws
  • and because even the most comprehensive legal ordinance cannot always have considered a special case.
