Procedure
Report to the Bremen city cleaning service on 0421 361-3611 or by e-mail to info@dbs.bremen.de. Bremer Stadtreinigung checks the registered bicycles and checks whether they are classified as waste. A banderole with the request to the bicycle holders to remove the bicycles within 4 weeks is attached. Otherwise they will be sent for recycling.

Bicycles that are fit to ride, even if they look dirty and have been standing in the same place for a long time, are not considered to be scrap bikes, regardless of their apparent condition.
Registered scrap bikes will be removed after the deadline and reported to the police. In the event that a bike is reported stolen, the owner will be informed by the police.
