How long does it take to process
The arrival of an ambulance should take place within one hour of the request. This may take longer depending on the specific workload.
What are the costs?
The transport costs are covered by the health insurance if the transport is prescribed by a doctor, whereby the transporting ambulance company usually settles directly with the insurance company for patients with health insurance. Patients with health insurance will be charged with an own contribution of 10% of the transport costs, but not more than 10,-.
