Procedure
The application can be made either by you as an individual or by the appointed funeral home at the health office of the place of death.
- Application in person for the mortuary passport at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
- Application by e-mail via rechtsmedizin@gesundheitnord.de
Only when all the necessary documents are available and all the requirements have been met can the public health office process the application for an international mortuary passport.
