Basic information
The inter-agency project "More Homes for Refugees in Bremen", sponsored by the Senator for Social Affairs, Youth, Integration and Sport, supports asylum seekers* in their search for and move into their own homes in Bremen.
At the same time, it offers house and apartment owners who wish to rent to refugees the opportunity to clarify all questions with competent contact persons.
Moving into one's own living space is extremely important both for an improved living situation and integration possibilities of the refugees and to relieve the burden on the temporary housing facilities and to avoid emergency accommodation.
Requirements
Possible living spaces that can be offered even for a short time:
- flat/apartment
- Single family house
- Two- and multi-family house
- Land / buildings
