Report Missing Election Notification

Election day is approaching and you haven't received your election notification yet? The election office will help you.

The election notification informs those entitled to vote about the time and place of the upcoming election and contains information about postal voting.

If you have not yet received a polling card on the 21st day before an election (European, Bundestag, Bürgerschaft), please contact the relevant electoral office immediately. If you are on the electoral roll, the electoral office can tell you your polling station.

To simplify the procedures on site, the polling card should be presented at the polling station on election day. However, you can also vote at your polling station without a polling card, as you will be on the electoral roll there. However, you must then identify yourself to the electoral board.

Requirements

You must be on the electoral roll to receive a polling card. The electoral roll lists all those entitled to vote in an election. The electoral roll is based on the population register. You must therefore be registered and be eligible to vote in the respective election in order to be included in the voters' register.
