Transport companies within the meaning of Section 3 (2) of the Passenger Transportation Act (PBefG) can apply for reimbursement of fare losses in local transport.

See the guideline on the reimbursement of fare losses on local public transport in accordance with Section 148 of the Ninth Book of the German Social Code (SGB IX) and the annexes.
