Procedure
Electronic registration for unemployment:
- Register for unemployment electronically on the Federal Employment Agency's specialist portal and book an appointment for a personal meeting with your placement specialist.
Personal unemployment registration:
You must register for unemployment in person at the employment agency responsible for your place of residence:
- Appear in person at your local employment agency during business hours and bring an identification document with a current registration address, such as your ID card. You do not need to make an appointment.
- You will receive the information you need to apply for unemployment benefits and, if necessary, an appointment with your placement specialist. You can apply for unemployment benefits on the website of the Federal Employment Agency.
