Procedure
The assembly can be registered in person or in writing (letter, e-mail, fax).
Anyone wishing to hold a public assembly (rally, procession) in the open air must register it with the public order office at least 48 hours before the announcement in accordance with § 14 VersammlG.
Announcing an assembly means publishing the assembly with its location, time and topic, e.g. by publicizing it on homepages, distributing flyers or posting notices on open social networks.
The following information is required for registration
- Details of the registrant
(first and last name, address, telephone number/mobile number) - Details of the chairperson of the meeting
(first name and surname, address, telephone number/mobile number) - Place and time (start/end) of the meeting
- Topic of the meeting
- Specification of means of assembly
(banners, loudspeakers, etc.) - Route of an elevator
(if the assembly is moving, all streets and squares affected)
