There are no deadlines for the application process. However, the school may only commence operations once state recognition or approval has been granted.

How long does it take to process

The Senator for Children and Education will make a decision within 3 months after all the necessary documents and evidence have been submitted.

What are the costs?

Fees of up to EUR 3,610.00 are charged for the recognition of a private vocational school (No. 106.02 of the cost regulations of the education administration). Fees of up to EUR 5,730.00 are charged for the approval of the regulations on training and examinations at a recognized supplementary school, depending on the time required (No. 106.03 of the cost regulations of the education administration).
