  • G Valid identification document, e.g. identity card, residence permit or passport

  • Diploma from a college and/or university degree program and proof of periods of study in the original language and in German**
  • Proof of name change in the original language and in German**
  • Sp Resettler's identity card in the original language and in German**

  ** Please have translations made on the basis of your original certificates by sworn translators. - if possible ufacture in Germany if possible - if possible. How long does it take to process

The processing time depends largely on the cooperation of the applicant and, in individual cases, on the assistance of the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB). As a rule, it takes up to 3 months to process the application if the documents are complete.
