Apply for a stand permit for the Osterwiese

The venue of the Osterwiese is the Bürgerweide (partial area).

Opening hours:

• daily from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  (the market may "run out" for up to half an hour)

The Osterwiese is a "public festival". Any applicant may participate in the festival. However, the organizer is entitled to exclude individual applicants for objectively justified reasons. This applies in particular if the available space is insufficient.
Due to the limited space available, only around one third of the average of around 600 applications received each year will be considered for admission. The selection is intended to ensure that the character of the folk festival is preserved and the expectations of the public are met. Furthermore, the quality and variety of the offer should also be guaranteed. To this end, stores of the highest possible quality are selected from the sectors usually represented at folk festivals.

These sectors are represented at the Osterwiese:

• Rollercoasters
• Delivery stores, sign painters etc., fairground suppliers
• Vending machine and grab game businesses
• Bumper cars, go-kart tracks
• Amusement and show shops
• Stores selling goods for immediate or instant consumption (e.g. snacks of all kinds, ice cream, fish, lard cakes)
• Carousels, ghost trains
• Children's carousels, floor carousels, children's scooters, boat swings, looping swings, snoozers, children's boat swings
• Ferris wheels up to 250 square meters total area
• Ferris wheels over 250 square meters total area
• Railways
• Shooting galleries
• Gaming stores (slot machines, general gaming stores)
• Other pubs with predominantly seated or standing areas
• Toys, pottery and household goods sales
• Sales stores (incl. showman's supplies)
• Raffles
• Tent restaurants over 650 square meters
