Online license plates temporarily out of service. 

Following a software update, online reservations of vanity plates are currently not possible. Online reservations will be available again shortly. Until then, please make your reservation by email to: zentralekfz-zulassungsbehoerde@buergeramt.bremen.de. Please provide a telephone number for any queries. 

We are currently working on the resumption of digital services. In the meantime, the analog services of the vehicle registration office are available to you. We apologize for the inconvenience. 

When a license plate number is allocated, a combination of letters and numbers is usually assigned over which there is no influence.

However, if a special combination of letters and numbers is desired, such a license plate can be requested as a vanity plate within the limits of availability.
