Immigration of skilled workers under the accelerated procedure




    	    

		    
The new Skilled Workers Immigration Act will come into force in Germany on 01.03.2020. According to this, companies can apply for the entry of skilled workers or trainees to be carried out in an accelerated procedure.

Under the new Skilled Workers Immigration Act, companies can allow trained employees and trainees to enter Germany in a so-called accelerated procedure, see § 81a Residence Act. 

The prerequisite is that the employees have completed vocational training that is recognized or can be recognized in Germany, see also: https://fachkraefteeinwanderungsgesetz.de/. 

An application for entry of such a skilled worker or trainee can be submitted by companies based in Bremen to the Migration Office.
