If you fail to appear without excuse, an administrative fine may be imposed on you.
The absence must be excused in time to allow the cancellation of the appointment and the notification of the parties involved.
Medical certificates are to be presented immediately.
In order to avoid an administrative fine, a later submission is sufficient if the late submission was not caused by negligence (§ 381 para. 1 p. 2 ZPO).
The submission of evidence (certificate or similar) is not subject to any formal obligation (copies are sufficient).
