If you are summoned to an appointment at the family court and cannot perceive it you can cancel the appointment by phone.
Please note that a medical certificate is required if personal attendance is ordered. Otherwise a fine will be imposed on you.
Basic information
You can inform the family court by telephone if you are unable to attend an appointment.
Requirements
You cannot attend the appointment.
The following information is required:
- Office number
- which appointment should be cancelled
- Your name, your first name
You can make the following additional entries:
- your telephone number
- Times in which you can be reached by telephone
- Suggestions for suitable alternative dates
- Your (family/legal) relationship to the person concerned
What documents do I need?
- medical certificate
If personal appearance is ordered: presentation of a medical certificate.
Mandatory content: The certificate must contain the diagnosis and the medical statement of the inability to negotiate.
