Online license plates temporarily out of service.
Following a software update, online reservations of vanity plates are currently not possible. Online reservations will be available again shortly. Until then, please make your reservation by email to: zentralekfz-zulassungsbehoerde@buergeramt.bremen.de. Please provide a telephone number for any queries.
In Bremen, a license plate can be reserved in advance for a fee at the vehicle registration offices or online for 90 days.
Basic information
The reservation will be deleted if the license plate is not retrieved within this period.
When selecting license plates, umlauts, combinations with the
- combinations of letters HJ, KZ, NS, SA, SS
- number combinations 18 and 88 as well as
- letter and number combinations AH/HH/FG 420/204
are not allowed.
License plate reservations with the above combinations, which may have been made in the past, may no longer be assigned with immediate effect.
