If a citizen moves from Lower Saxony to Bremen, he must inform the pension office in Lower Saxony of his new address and ask for the file to be sent to Bremen.
After receipt of the file, the citizen will receive a confirmation of receipt from us, stating that a new ID card and possibly a new token will be issued as soon as a photo is sent to us under the local file number.
Any change of address when moving to Bremen must be notified in writing.
