Basic information
After-school care centers provide care, education and educational support for school children until the end of elementary school. This means that there is more than just lunch and supervision with homework. It is also about group experiences, skills for building social relationships, cooperation, leisure activities, creativity and much more. The children are involved in the planning and organization of the daily routine in the after-school care center and the educational program.
An after-school care fee must be paid in advance for each of your children registered for after-school care. Your income and the number of your children will be taken into account appropriately.
Requirements
The child is registered for after-school care with a parents' association, private commercial provider or in day care in Bremen.
What documents do I need?
- For parents' associations or private commercial providers: A written notification from the childcare facility about the early termination of after-school care.
- For day care: Written confirmation from the day carer.
