Procedure

• If the international placement office has requested you to make a declaration in accordance with Section 7 (1) AdÜbAG and you are prepared to adopt the child proposed to you, contact the office where you wish to have the notarization carried out.
  It is best to arrange an appointment with the office that is to record the document. Before the notarization, the person recording the document will inform you about the legal consequences of the notarization.
• As a rule, the notarization can take place immediately.
• The deed is sent to the foreign exchange.
