Creating a digital school BIBCARD for pupils in Bremen

Procedure

            			
  • Pupils in Bremen can create a digital BIBCARD on their school iPad.
  • The Digital BIBCARD app, which is pre-installed on all school devices, requires the following information:
    
 
    • Date of birth
    • Personal ID: This is provided by the school
    • E-mail address
  • An additional declaration of consent from the parents is not necessary.
  • An account with the city library is created via a link on the iPad and the students immediately receive a BIBCARD number.
  • Once registered, the BIBCARD can be transferred not only to the school iPad, but also to the wallet function of the private smartphone and can therefore also be used outside of class.
