Christmas market - apply for a stand

Procedure

The Christmas market is an "annual market" (according to § 68 paragraph 2 of the trade regulations).
Therefore, every applicant may in principle participate in the market. However, the organizer is entitled to exclude individual applicants from participation for objectively justified reasons. This applies in particular if there is not enough space available.

On average, around 400 applications are received for the Christmas market. Due to the limited space available, only less than half can be admitted. Different sectors and types of offerings are admitted in proportion to each other so that the character of the event, which has grown over the years, is preserved. The aim is also to ensure that the expectations of the public are met.

The prospect of admission is open to those who

  • can present an attractive, high-quality offer and who
  • has adapted its (independently managed) business to the high design standards of the current Christmas market.
