Care allowance for war victims or beneficiaries under the Federal Pension Act (BVG)
- Notlagen und Opferhilfen
- Gesundheit und Vorsorge
Damaged persons receive a lump-sum care allowance in the event of helplessness.
Basic information
The lump-sum care allowance is increased if a caregiver must be hired and the reasonable costs are higher than the lump sum. The damaged person keeps part of the lump sum.
In the event of temporary inpatient care, the care allowance continues to be paid for a certain period.
In the case of permanent inpatient care, the costs of nursing, care, room and board are covered.
The benefit is offset against the care allowance, but a portion remains free.
