Procedure
To extend your Aufenthaltsgestattung, if you are still living in the initial reception center in Lindenstraße or in a temporary residence, hand it in to the management of the residence before it expires. The residence hall will forward the Aufenthaltsgestattung to the Migration Office for renewal and you will receive it back within 1-2 days after renewal.
If the Aufenthaltsgestattung has been extended by the Migration Office, you will receive a new Aufenthaltsgestattung from the Migration Office when the old one expires or an appointment to receive a residence permit if your asylum application has been approved by the BAMF.
If you are no longer living in a residence and your Aufenthaltsgestattung expires in a week and you have not yet received any mail from the Migration Office, please send us an e-mail to mailto:ref30@migrationsamt.bremen.de.
