Alternative schools are entitled to charge school fees. They are subject to the prohibition of segregation, i.e. the school fees may not be so high that they generally exclude pupils due to their parents' financial circumstances.
Alternative schools therefore offer a sliding scale of school fees, sibling discounts or other discount options.
