Application for entitlement to use the title 'agricultural accountancy office' as a professional title

The term "Landwirtschaftliche Buchstelle" is a legally protected designation. It is awarded to persons who have demonstrated special expertise in providing tax advice for agriculture and forestry. The title can be awarded to tax consultants, tax agents, lawyers and established European lawyers.

Pursuant to Section 44 (2) of the Tax Consultancy Act (StBerG) in conjunction with Sections 43 and 44 of the Implementing Regulation (DVStB), proof of special expertise must be provided by passing an oral examination before an expert committee. Successful completion of the examination requires several years of professional experience in this field. Theoretical and practical knowledge of tax and business management is required.

Persons who can prove their expertise through relevant training and who have provided tax advice to accounting agricultural and forestry businesses for at least 3 years can be exempted from the oral examination on application.

The designation is not awarded in Bremen. Authorization to use the designation is granted by the Lower Saxony Chamber of Tax Consultants:
